breast pad recommendation?

sorry i'm sure this has been done before but can't find thread...

does anyone have recommendations for breast pads that aren't completely obvious under clothes?

have tried
avent washable and disposable
lansinoh washable and disposable
all hopeless

would like to continue wearing normal t-shirts rather than resort to kaftans (trendy as they may be )

Well, I always found Boots the best ones. Avoid Morrisons (have a delihgtful puckered ridge all the way round so that everyone in a 10 mile radius can see them)and Johnsons (lose tiny fibres that end up in LO's mouth- grrr) like the plague.

asicsgirl · 10/06/2008 10:59

oh yes fibres - the avent ones do that too...

The only ones I've got on with are the lansinoh disposable ones as they are so thin and don't leave a visible line. Shame they're pink though...

I found Boots Ultra-slim ones to be fine. this page

The only ones I would recommend would be Boots ultra slim, as potatolover said, and Tommee Tippee which I thought were excellent - really absorbent and didn't show under clothes. I tried lots of other ones that were really crap

justaphase · 10/06/2008 11:48

actually, has anybody tried the lilly pads? do they work?

asicsgirl · 11/06/2008 09:12

thanks for suggestions! i have got some boots ones now and they're much better

i find the lansinoh disposable alright for going out and not that obvious. i also use the lansinoh washable ones as well when just hanging out at home, but they are quite bulky.

i also have lilypads, which i tend to use only at night so i can sleep without a bra (and not leak!). they do work for me, but i find that they smell a little bit, also I am not that leaky anymore.
