mastitis or flu?

My 5 year old has flu and I was pretty sure I caught flu from her, achy body, coughing, fever, chills, sore throat, headache, feeling spacy. Last night I noticed my left breast was sore and it’s still pretty sore/tender this morning. There’s no lump or redness, both feel similarly hot which makes sense with a fever.
I’ve fairly recently slowly weaned my 3 year old so it’s not been a sudden stop it’s taken us a while. Do you think this is just from all the coughing or general achy body or could it be mastitis? Whenever I’ve had it before I’ve had a lump/red patch and also I’ve never had a sore throat or cough with it. No doctors appointments available today either, last time I had mastitis I had to ring out of hours as the receptionist said it wasn’t an emergency.

When I had mastitis my breast was rock hard, burning hot and looked like an iron had burned it. It was very painful. The midwife rang the GP and got me a same day appointment. Could you ask your midwife to check it? I was given antibiotics by the gp and advised to put a cabbage leaf in my bra by the midwife! It was oddly soothing!

Could you have both?
