HELP. BABY WANTS A BOTTLE!

I have an 11 week old and have been breastfeeding up untill now.
Last week I started giving a bottle of formula in the evening to give me a rest and try to get more sleep, but the last two days have been horrible, baby really strugling to feed from me - slipping on and off and getting upset!
After a few hours of this today I gave him another bottle and he gulped it down no bother! I think Im going to have to go onto bottles, as he has not had a good breastfeed all day. Im not sure how my boobs will cope, as they are already really full!
Any advice would be great!
Also, are the "hungry baby" milks ok to give at this age?
Sorry about the ramble, but Im not sure what to do for the best, I fed my last baby no problem for a year.

if you want to breastfeed then ditch the bottles for a few more weeks - then gradually reintroduce them. Feed him as often as he wants over the next few days.

A baby has to work at getting the milk out when breastfeeding - with a bottle it is much easier just to gulp it down. If you don't give him any more bottles then he will go back to being used to breastfeeding. He won't starve

Fussiness may also be a symptom of a growth spurt, teeth moving around, or more awareness of the world around him - try feeding in a quiet calm environment - get comfortable and feed for as long as he wants.

If you don't want to breast feed then cut down gradually otherwise you might risk mastitis.

I think it is too early for hungry baby milk - but others can probably tell you more about that.

Hungry baby milks are for babies who drink 9oz bottles and carry on wailing with genuine hunger. Stick with the milk you are using.

Your baby is being lazy by refusing to latch on - bottle milk pours down his throat with no effort. Breast feeding needs concentration.

To get him to latch on express a little to soften your breast a little...and persevere!
