Trapped Wind for BF baby

Hi all,
my 2 week old who is being exclusively breastfed has been suffering with trapped wind. I’ve tried burping her after and in between feeds, tummy time + tummy massages, warm baths, even been switching feeding positions but struggling to get the trapped wind out, I feel like this is also affecting her poops and digestion. I hate seeing my child in pain and discomfort, does anyone know any other ways to relieve wind / aid pooping?

Hi op.
I don't know what this method is called, but definitely worked for my little one...
Sit them on your knee facing away from you, fully supporting them in sitting as upright as they can be, then gently swirling them (their upper body) in a seated circle. I called it the ice cream method as it was like I was making a Mr whippy.
Worked tremendously for us.
If it persists though, talk to the health visitor as it could be a latching issue (baby is sucking in too much air when feeding) or an acid reflux issue.

Congratulations on your new LO Flowers

One of the most common causes of wind in a BF baby will be Tongue Tie. Have a read of this article from Milk Matters and see if any of the symptoms sound familiar.
