Recurring oral thrush baby

Just after sone advice if anyone’s little one has had the same,
she is 12 weeks old and is on her 5th bottle of nystatin liquid for oral thrush. It is swabbed confirmed it’s thrush.
it doesn’t seem to bother her (the thrush itself) but the nystatin gives her wind and loose nappies.
She is exclusively breastfed and I have tried treating myself alongside (guidance has changed to say there is no need to but I have tried anyway)
Everytime she is finished a bottle after a couple days it has spread back around her mouth. I just feel like it is never going to go away!

How do you steralise your bottles ? My youngest had this a lot as a baby.I had always used Milton cold water steralisation with all my kids, the only one I used an electrical steaming steraliser for was her, and she kept getting oral thrush, I switched back to cold water Milton steralising and the problem cleared and she never had it again.

We had this OP. It turned out (weirdly) to actually be undiagnosed tongue tie! The tongue tie meant he was breastfeeding for really long goes at a time and it seemed to cause the thrush to keep building back up quickly every time we treated it. It stopped as soon as the tt was cut. Also I found Nystatin was nowhere near as effective as Daktarin oral gel, have you tried that at all?

@Flidina she doesn’t use bottles or dummies so nothing sterilising wise! But that is very good to know for if we did start using bottles thank you!

@Darragon oh really? This is interesting because she does have a TT but I’ve had it looked at both privately and nhs and both said although she is tongue tied it’s get enough stretch to it to not warrant being cut! She’s not old enough for the daktarin apparently? Is it 4 months they can have that
