feed from one breast in the morning, feed from one breast in the evening. a few sips (prob less than 2oz) of water during the day.

also on 3/4 jars baby food?

what do you think?

doesnt sound an awful lot really. Up to 1 year a minimum of 20oz of milk is recommended although some of that can be made up through food e.g. milk with cereal, in foods, dairy products, etc. Would they take more bf if offered or have you tried milk in a bottle/cup?

My DD2 was not drinking much at this stage - certainly not much water. I figured that either (a) she must have been getting more breastmilk than I thought and (b) there's quite a lot of liquid in food if it's pureed. She's 14 months now and not bf any more, and drinks a lot more too (water & cows milk).

they say she wont take anything from a bottle and as mum is going back to work more BF milk is not possible. she seems well otherwise and is very chunky.

the parents asked me if they should be worried and I wasnt sure what to say as my DS has always drunk loads and its ages since he was that little.
