I have posted another thread on here about our struggles feeding second baby

basically a straw poll - which formula is best for silent reflux?

baby currently on Kendamil and isn’t throwing up a lot but is in pain and won’t lie on back. When does throw up it’s thick and mucousy. Have also tried aptamil pepti but reflux was much worse

Are they medicated? Formula won’t fix it.

How old is your baby?
Have they always had this issue?
What has your health visitor said?

8 weeks. We are awaiting a referral to paediatrics. Checked for tongue tie already and has trialed a hydrolysed formula which I felt was premature but went along with it.

my daughter had the same and ended up on Neocate and Omeprazole so I understand the pathway and treatment options. I want to tick all the boxes before the pads referral so I want to say that I have trialed another “off the shelf” formula. He has been on kendamil for a few weeks

We had the same issue with our little one. Kendamil was gentle but didn’t solve the pain part. We ended up switching to Cow & Gate Anti-Reflux and it made a big difference. It’s thicker, so it stays down better, but you need a faster flow teat.

Sounds like a good alternative or you could try Hipp Comfort?

How were they on thy hydrolysed formula?
