Question about wind....and what I am eating (BFing question)

My LO is two weeks old and we seem to be rolling on the BFing front after a very rocky start....she has been windy since day one and was up (for the firt time) for three hours last night trying to expel wind/poo. Nothing seemed to settle her. As I am winding during the feed, and giving Infacol, Granny thinks it might be food related....should I be watching what I eat? If you have any thoughts/ideas, I'd very much appreciate it.

Cheers

My DS1 had terrible colic and would be very unsettled especially in the evening, eventually took him to a cranial osteopath who advised me not to eat brasicas, eg brocolli, cabbage, cauliflower etc, lentils or anything too spicy (all things I did actually eat a lot of!). Good luck and hope this helps!
