Any other bottle feeders out there? I need some moral support!

For a variety of reasons too long to report here, I am having to move from bf to ff for my DD1. I'd love to continue bf but it's just not feasible at this point, but the pressure to keep doing it is doing my head in! Any other formula feeders out there who can let me know that DD1 will thrive even though she is no longer bf?

Wonderingmum - I have three sons, all of whom were initially breastfed but ended up bottle fed (it seems I produce skim where others make gold-top, so they didn't thrive on my milk).

All three are now healthy, active, intelligent boys who do well in school, play plenty of sports/cycle lots, eat well, sleep well and don't get ill any more than any other child I know.

Yes, breastfeeding is an great thing to do for your child - but there are lots and lots of other amazingly good things that you can do for them too so don't worry - be happy that you are doing the best that you can for your child.
