Concern about bad formula

Hi

My partner struggled with breastfeeding and we have since been exclusively formula feeding our 3 month old daughter.

We recently bought a fresh batch of Aptamil advanced formula with an expiry date of May 2026, but the milk seems to be unusually clumpy on the seal (see attached picture).

This has coincided with our little one being a little unsettled of late, and we are concerned we may have fed her some spoilt formula. She otherwise seems well and the formula doesn’t smell bad.

We would be keen to know if any fellow parents think the milk looks obviously spoilt, and if others have had similar experiences?

Thank you

I had this - same brand, same bottle size. I complained directly to Aptamil. They sent me a bunch of vouchers alongside an explanation:

when supermarkets store the milk, they may not keep
it at the right temperature. This can cause clumping. The milk is not bad though - it’s still safe to use

I would complain to the manufacturer too and see what they say.
