Excessive gas and crying

Has anyone else experienced their newborn (3/4 weeks old) with excessive wind from the bottom end paired with crying/screaming at the same time and being very unsettled when awake? We are using Aptamil formula.

I’m finding it hard seeing her so unsettled and crying and not being able to help her. I’m wondering if perhaps she has a little bit of colic but I’m really not sure

No help op but my baby was like this from newborn and been like it every single day and he’s now 7m. Been back and fourth to gp as he’s so uncomfortable and has no reflux or colic so don’t have a clue why! Sending condolences because it’s so hard!

Try co-lactase drops in her milk

My daughter had colic. Same symptoms and lasted for months. We found Hipp comfort helped. It makes poo runny but it stopped when she started solids, obviously. I hope they improve soon. It can be very challenging.

Thank you! I have actually just ordered the colief infant drops so fingers crossed these make a difference!

Good luck, hope it helps. It was a game changer for my daughter, sorted out her tummy troubles instantly

I’ll also add, after I started with Hipp Comfort others had told me that the standard Hipp infant formula (combiotic) eased symptoms too.
Infacol helped her to pass the (bottom) wind and ease things but didn’t make the problem stop.
also, I had so many people say I must not be winding her enough. I spent so long winding after feeds(every position possible) and it made no difference. We know this because I just stopped at about 6 months in and symptoms were the same. I think the winding kept her awake after the feeds when that was really the only brief time she got respite from the pain from wind at night.
It gets easier. I hope you have support OP.

Thank you, trying a comfort formula is my next option if the colief drops don’t help!
