DD put down her drink and biscuit, muttered something along the lines of "my tea...peace...2 minutes" and lifted up her top, put a doll to her chest and announced "baby drinking milk now".

I was proud of her public breastfeeding display but a bit at the muttering!

DD keeps sticking Iggle Piggle down my bra when I'm feeding her so he can have some too

fishie · 30/05/2008 22:31

oh for iggle piggle. i get gigantic spiky plastic dinosaurs. with big teeth.

jingleyjen · 30/05/2008 22:32

whomovedmychocolate · 30/05/2008 22:35

It's a singing Iggle Piggle fishie!

fishie · 30/05/2008 22:37

it is still soft and friendly.

whomovedmychocolate · 30/05/2008 22:37

I disagree, he reminds me of a frankensteinian smurf!

loucee · 30/05/2008 22:41

clairey that is so lovely, what a clever wee thing she is.

I was having a coffee with DH, DD and feeding DS yesterday and a boy of about 6 came over and asked "what's your baby's name" (I replied, DS carried on feeding - DS is 5 mths) then the wee boy asked "what are you doing" so I replied "feeding my baby" - his reply was "how do you put the milk in there?"! I'm really discreet feeding so no boob was on display or anything, His mum whisked him away before I even thought of a reply

fishie · 30/05/2008 22:42

i defy you to accept a ceratosauros in the bra. i wish it did sing.

chipmonkey · 30/05/2008 23:03

clairey, that is hilarious!

DD1 (aged 4 and a half) sat down in a shoe shop the other day and nursed her baby doll. She has boobed all manner of toys in the past, including tandem nursing baby dolls! DD2 (23 months) will randomly stuff teddies and baby dolls up her top in a vaque nursing style. It's very funny. I have pictures of them doing it, which I will show them when they are older, probably in front of new boyfriends......snigger!

When she was little DD1 wanted me to nurse her toys, monkies, teddies, whatever, no spikey toothed dinos or trucks, thankfully!!

DD1 tried very hard to get an embarrassed Student Midwife to nurse a doll at Baby Cafe the other day. I often forget I 'feeding' a doll and start doing things with one hand, doh.
