hey in need of some advice or help!! My baby is 3 months 3 weeks old and had there 12 week jabs over 2 weeks ago and her feeding has completely changed since. Before the jabs I got her up to 5oz every 4 hours and now she’s refusing her bottles taking 0.5oz here and there is this just a fussy phase or is it something more I’m worried her stomach might get smaller and will have a bad affect on her

After 2 weeks of a 3 month old barely feeding I'd suggest calling the gp, health visitor or whoever is in charge of baby's care first thing in the morning. Babies go through funny spells and they can feel a bit yuck after their jabs, but I'd be want to get that sorted ASAP. I dont want to worry you, baby is still getting some milk and I presume is ok in themself besides this? Xx

I went to GP last week and they sent us too A&E and they have basically said it’s not a concern as she’s still having enough wet nappies and isn’t dropping to below 70% she’s at a 45%to 50% drop in milk so they said just keep offering little and often

Well then don't worry too much and keep offering as much as she'll have. If the nappies decrease or any other concerns take her back to the dr. There are so many worries when they're tiny but thank goodness almost always nothing! Maybe keep a record just in case its needed. Sending big hugs!

That must he worrying. Have you checked led their mouth to see if any teeth are coming through?

Have you tried DD with a dose of Calpol or Ibruprofen too and did it help?

Nadinenai91 · 16/08/2025 15:51

Yeah it doesn’t look like anything is coming through but she won’t stop sucking her fists

Is she crying? I think I'd have to double check next week...better to be an annoying mum than risk anything! Big hugs and keep us updated! Xxx
