Can anyone recommend a good breast pump please?

I have a four week old DD and would like to start expressing to ease sore nipples/share night feeds as i have a very hungry baby!

I have tried the Avent manual pump with no joy whatsoever so i'm looking at buying an electric one. I know they are expensive but i'm planning on trying to express for about four months or so plus will probably have a second child so would be worth the investment in the long term.

Can anyone recommend a good one please?

Those techniques are from a book I have called "Exclusively Expressing Breastmilk". It was a lifesaver for me as this is what I did for dd1

I have just about finished using my Lactaline for the 2nd time around - its a brilliant breastpump and I'd completely recommend it. But (as per all the other posts on here) obviously you need to either feed or express super-frequently to increase your supply at this stage if you're dealing with a hungry baby. Having said that, I've expressed every morning after feeding both my dcs so that dh could give them a bottle of ebm at 11pm from around 3 weeks and it hasn't affected my supply at all. The only drawback has been waking up with incredibly sore boobs for the 3/4/5am feed after missing 11pm until my body got the hang of it...
