Breastfeeding 13mo, affecting his appetite for solid food??

My 13mo is still breastfeed in the morning, when I get in from work approx 5.30pm and at bedtime. Often once in the night aswell. We had night weaned successfully but he´s been a bit under the weather and then had chickenpox and ended up feeding quite often again day and night (I had the week off work when he was ill with chickenpox and he fed regularly) as it was the only thing that would settle him.

Before he was unwell he would have these 3 feeds and still put away 3 meals a day plus small snacks. Since he´s been sick he´s gone off his evening meal, screaming as soon as I try to feed him. He´s not been interested in feeding himself although we do try to offer him. I have tried spoonfeeding, helping him feed himself with the spoon., dumping it on the counter in front of him and letting him use his hands, making finger food and leaving it for him to feed himself (or trying to help him),. In these last cases he just looks at me, looks at it and chucks it on the floor. If I put any in his mouth he screams.

At nursery apparently he eats all his lunch with no probs

Tonight he had his usual small breastfeed at 5.30pm and when I tried with supper at 7pm he did his usual. Gave up, bathed him etc and he just had another breastfeed!

I didn´t know whether to put this in food, weaning or wherever but any advice would be really appreciated
