What is this on my nipple!

A quick Google makes me think it could be a "bleb"? Its so painful. I can't feed on this side without wincing. I did try to pop it as it kind of looked like it could be popped but that made it worse so I backed off for now. I've tried heat and ice, it's the weekend so can't call my GP til Monday but it really hurts.

There’s no image but despite the pain, if it is a bleb you need to keep feeding as the child’s sucking motion can clear it.

I had one once that when I squeezed my breast as if the hand express it raised, showing it was blocked (it was painful) it’s not what you are meant to do but I softened it in the bath, raised it and then squeezed it like a spot and it popped. Huge amounts of milk that was backed up came out and the relief was immediate!

I did post an image but it's not showing, wondering if maybe it wasn't approved or if its still awaiting approval. I have tried doing that but it just kept getting more and more inflamed. There's no kind of "head" to it though which is what confuses me as it says online there should be a white spot. I'll keep feeding on that side and see if it gets better, it really does hurt though!
