Bottle warmer

Hi guys please don’t judge I’m a first time mum and I’ve only just realised I’ve been using the bottle warmer ‘wrong’. She’s 8 weeks old now and she’s absolutely fine no reflux etc etc.

so I’ve been making up a bottle of formula for the night feed with boiling water then popping it in the bottle warmer with the temp set at 37 degrees to keep it warm because this is what the instructions say. But now I’ve read this is wrong…she’s never been poorly from it either.

does anyone else use this method? Should I stop even though it works for us and she’s been fine?

You can either keep water warm or keep milk cold. You shouldn't leave a bottle of prepared formula warm for hours at a time. Once it's prepared you should use it within 2 hours or put it in the fridge for up to 24 hours
