Anybody have Medela bottles? What teats can be used with them?

Am just looking at Medela bottles on Mothercare website but can't for the life of me work out what teats can be used with them! Can anyone help? Will Philips Avent ones work?

I think my Medela pump came with teats. I can't really remember now!

Hi,

Are you using the bottles to express into and then feeding directly from them?

I think Medela have replied to me in the past when I emailed them asking for their adaptor (sold in the US) which makes the pump fit Avent bottles. I exclusively expressed for 6 months and I was fed up of decanting the milk from storage bottles into feeding bottles. Sadly they don't seem to sell it here and getting it from the US is massively expensive as far as I can see.

However, they did tell me that ANY standard (as in narrow bottle) teat should fit. I have seen some small teats in Superdrug so maybe you could try those?

I would warn though they are not all colic and wind friendly like most modern bottles. My ds couldn't cope with them.

HTH
