Alcohol and breastfeeding on holiday

I am going on holiday for a week and am ebf I know the guidelines around alcohol and feeding and to wait 2-3 hours in between. My question is, would I be safe to have a couple of beers most days but spaced out over the day or will this be harmful to little one?

I honestly never gave it a second thought and happily had a couple of drinks while feeding now and again. You're not binging.

The pubs of leafy South London are full of breastfeeding mums having a lunchtime pint 😂.

Even that NHS advice very vaguely says a 2 hour wait might lessen a risk of something that's already a tiny risk.

Thank you, its nice to hear other people who have had experience with it. I normally wouldn't worry too much as I wouldn't normally have a drink every day but obviously on holiday I want to be able too and was just unsure if doing it every day is going to have some sort of effect. I defo won't be drunk or bed sharing so I'm not worried about that. Just adding another thing on my list of things to feel guilty about 😂

I wouldn't worry at all. And at that age, my baby went down reliably from 7pm until 1 or 2am, so I could definitely indulge in a couple of big glasses of wine guilt free.

Just have alcohol free beer, it doesn't taste any different. No big deal!

I take it you don't drink beer? Because alcohol free beer tastes like grassy shit in comparison. I'd rather stick to tap water than drink that poison 😂

Thank you I appreciate that, yeah she does sleep really well too usually through the night so I know I would be fine at night time but obviously I wouldn't go overboard just incase she woke up 😀
