Rinsing bottles after dishwasher

Hi,

When I've looked it up it says in verbally recommended to rinse baby bottles when they have been through the dishwasher and before sterilising.
My little one is nearly six months and I don't intend doing this for his weaning stuff, is it really necessary to rinse his bottles? Is everyone else doing this too.

I’ve never washed baby bottles or weaning stuff in the dishwasher - just the sink - but I can’t see why you would need to do an additional rinse. But I have also never sterilised weaning equipment as it’s bowls and spoons etc

Something to do with rinsing off soap residue.
I don't intend on sterilising his weaning stuff either, I can't wait for sterilising to be finished!
