Post BF weaning

I’ve recently weaned my 13 month old. She wasn’t feeding loads and as she would never take a bottle or breast milk out of any receptacle, the change to cows milk has been good for her.

We had our last feed just under 2 weeks ago and I don’t particularly feel too down about it but this past week my whole body seems to have crashed; I feel anxious, dizzy, suffering from migraines and have complete brain fog, cannot concentrate.

I am pretty stressed at work but could also be the weaning, can it make you feel like this or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Yes, Google 'post weaning anxiety / depression '. Your hormones will be all over the place right now. They should settle within a few weeks hopefully.

Yes you can get a drop of hormones post stopping breastfeeding that can trigger mood changes similar to the drop a few days postpartum.
Take care of yourself and make sure you have support
