How did it go? Did they lose any weight. I'm currently doing this and she's lost weight. Putting her to the boob as much as possible as I was only feeding when she was hungry.

How old is she? I did this after DS had his tongue tie snipped (he couldn't latch properly before) I look back now and wonder why I did , it was so important to me at the time but it was really hard, I ended up with bleeding nipples and Reynaud's syndrome in my nipples (not sure if the latter would've happened anyway) while he sorted his latch out. Contrary to advice I found nipple shields helped until he got used to it and got a little bigger he was only 4 weeks old though. I used kendamil to combi feed and gradually changed the ratio of breast to bottle feeds until he was exclusively BF, it took weeks.

ETA he didn't lose but didn't gain initially and then gain was slow which is why I kept topping up.for a while. If I could've successfully expressed i would've used that but it just didn't really work for me.

She's 7 weeks. She had a tongue tie too which got sorted, then we both got thrush so I stopped feeding which I regret.

I've got nipple shields which are helping. Just going to feed as much as possible.

@TheCurious0rangei think it might be my baby scales as I weighed my other daughter and it shows she's lost the same amount of weight. They both don't look or feel like they've lost it
