6 week fussing during breastfeeding

My 6 week old is probably going through her next growth spurt. I mainly breastfeed and my partner tops up with formula in the evening when I sleep for a few hours as I don't get much from pumping at night. I want to try pumping in the mornings but as she only contact naps it's tricky.

Since Tuesday little one has been more fussy in the afternoons perhaps when my let down is slower and one evening wouldn't latch and feed for more than a few seconds.I tried different positions and compressions but this only worked for a while. She cries and is clearly hungry so I tried other ways of soothing her before feeding (bouncing on pregnancy ball, wearing her in a sling, tiger hold etc). In the end I gave her formula top up early but she still wanted to breastfeed after.

Has anyone else gone through a phase like this? Was there anything that worked for you to get little one to feed when they were fussing?

Have you tried feeding her her in a dark quiet room?

My daughter fussed during feeds due to silent reflux and multiple food allergies.
Tongue tie can cause fussing too.

Formula top ups are going to make your supply go down, baby will get even fussier, and you're then in a vicious circle where you think you don't have enough milk and end up formula feeding. FF is fine if it's what you want but if you want to continue breast, you need to ditch formula. 6 weeks is early and your supply is adjusting. I get that you want that extra sleep but BF hormones are highest at night. The time for an evening bottle is later, you should be latching baby on for every feed now.
