That's fab! My full term 15 month old dd2 only weighs 16lb 4 oz!

SparklyGothKat · 23/05/2008 17:28

he was 4lb 8oz at birth at 33 weeks, but I had GD during pregnancy so he came out a bit bigger than he should have done

Generally the sucking reflex doesn't come in till 36 weeks. I have been lucky with my kids as they have started sucking early

Hi Sparkly I was looking at pics of Callum on your profile and wondered if he's been in that baby door bouncer thingy yet that I sent you (via your sister).

Seems like donkey's years ago but you'd just found out you were pg again!

Or maybe he is just going straight to walking

SparklyGothKat · 23/05/2008 18:03

Oh yes he has been in the door bouncer. I have pics, will upload them soon. He loves it!!

Fab! I loved my ds1 in that, but ds2 was a summer baby, by the time he was old enough to 'bounce' it was the middle of winter and we had to keep all the doors shut in our draughty house or have him dangling there in a howling gale

onebatmother · 23/05/2008 18:10

bloody hell what a beauty. Really glad for you sgk.

SparklyGothKat · 23/05/2008 18:15

He is a stunner, people always look at him and smile..

(You should send your story to the ABM magazine Sparkly. They would love it.)

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy!

I'll say it again

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy!

He is gorgeous, SGK - and you have done so well. I hope you are really proud of your not so tiny acorn.

verylittlecarrot · 23/05/2008 22:03

wonderful, beautiful boy - and amazing mummy!

Congratulations SGK. Such a great achievement!

SparklyGothKat · 23/05/2008 22:39

I am sooo proud of him (and myself) He is STILL BF, don't think he will be giving up his 'moo cow' for a long time

Izzybel · 23/05/2008 22:59

Aww, he is gorgeous! You must be so proud of him. Well done!

FromGirders · 23/05/2008 23:03

He is beautiful. Some of the early pics remind me of my ds, who was born full term but had a similar face shape to Callum (until he plumped up at about 5 or 6 weeks).
I'm now broodier than I have been for the last two years, darn you and your gorgeous boy!
And again, WELL done.

SparklyGothKat · 23/05/2008 23:05

he makes people very broody.. not sure why!! lol!!
