Supply not adjusting

I’ve been back at work full time coming up to 4 weeks now. DD who is bf (takes a bit of formula in nursery) is away from me about 8-9 hours. Although we’ve had the odd appointment here and there, so have had a few half days where she’s been with me and fed more than a full nursery day.

Finding that I have to express a bit early afternoon to take the edge off - maybe half an ounce - but today I seem to have just been leaking most of the afternoon (wfh luckily).

I would have thought my supply would have adapted by now. Is my expressing not helping and keeping my supply up? I just seem to leak if I don’t, not to mention how uncomfortable it is.

What have your experiences been when returning to work?

How many times were you BF before in those 9 hours? I dropped one feed at a time, first mid morning, then after 5 or 6 days the after lunch feed, then the afternoon feed. It took about 3 weeks but doing it gradually meant i had zero leaks or pain. Baby was 9.5 months.
