Biting! Argh!

I'm sure this has been done before, but does anyone have any advice more constructive than "tell baby something along the lines of, "if you want to bite, we're not nursing." (kellymom) when they bite. DS is 8 mo and has 5 teeth and he's biting me more and more often. He just laughs if I tell him off. It has conicided with my return to work, is that likely to be a cause or am I just being a bit sensitive?

bumping for you - my ds is 7mo and has no teeth yet but I am worried about the day they do come through as he has a tendency to unlatch without opening his mouth (ouch!)

Oh I've had that too, it's usually a sudden whip of the head round to see what amazing noise or thing is over there but without taking the nipple out his mouth first !! Not nice, the only solution I found was feeding ds in the dullest quietest room imaginable!
