Formula help in the UK

We are traveling back to the UK soon from NZ for 7 weeks. My 5 month old is on an A2 milk formula here in NZ after a trial of multiple formulas, all of which caused stomach problems and constipation. A2 is the first one we have found that works for her but I am struggling to find any available in the UK. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am really hoping I don't have to lug 7 tins over in my suitcase from NZ!

Holle does a great A2 milk. They also do a lovely goats milk too for sensitive tummies.

Thanks, I did look at Holle but could not find there A2 milk. We have tried goats milk twice but it gave her awful constipation unfortunately.

You could try an extensively hydrolysed formula such as pepti or nutramigen. These have the dairy proteins partially broken down it's not the same as selecting out the A2 proteins but it might have a similar effect

Although if you've struggled to find the right formula I'd probably be tempted to bring it with you. It might be more of a pain to travel with the formula but being away from home with an unhappy baby will be a pain also. There was only 1 formula my daughter could have and it added to the stress

Could you not maybe post a load over before you come? I've known people to put suitcase in the post home so as not to take up room on a plane.

If your baby is sensitive to a particular formula I would bring it with you. I went on a holiday, albeit only 1 week, and took all the formula then. It was a faff so I can’t imagine 7 weeks worth but I didn’t want the stress of running out and trying formula abroad when others made him constipated.
