How do you heat your EBM? how long for?

I know all babies like different temps etc, but roughly speaking to get it too "blood" temp, how long does it have to sit in hot water? hot or boiling? etc etc?

I am faffing about and getting it wrong every time!

thanks!

I do it in a jug of just-boiled water and keep testing till it's right - 5min?

I am a mean mummy and give it cold straight out of the fridge or at room temperature (DH puts it next to his beer on the coffee table after I've expressed at 9pm, and it sits there until he feeds her at 10 whilst I'm in the bath!)so that DD can get used to it at different temps - saves a bit of hassle and it worked with DS.

Thanks! DD actually seemed to take a little bit once when it was cold from the fridge - ideally I'd like her just to take it room temp too, but for now I am willing to do anything just to get her to take it! Thanks!

Like MrsBudger, I just put in a jug of boiling water. Just kept it in for a few mins while I changed the boys - nothing too scientific!

6 minutes at level 2 in an Avent bottle warmer but only because we use Playtex disposable bottles and you can't heat them too aggressively.
