Bottle refusal & leaving baby

Hello! My 7m old baby is currently refusing a bottle. He is EBF but used to have a bottle every night until he was about 4m. He now won't take a bottle at all. I've tried different teats, open cups, straw cups etc. He'll have little sips from cups and straws but not more than that.

This wouldn't be an issue as I'm happy to continue BF for now. But we are meant to be going to Glastonbury. We are staying with my parents nearby so I can still do the morning feed but the afternoon and bedtime feed is what I'm concerned about.

He is eating solids really well so I don't think he'll go hungry, but I'd obviously still like him to have the hydration and a full tummy for him to be able to sleep etc. He'll be 8m at this point.

Any tips for how to handle this? If he misses a milk feed is that ok? Will he eventually cave and take a bottle from my parents if I'm not there? Any magic bottle tips?

I was thinking of trying the Honey Bear bottle next.

Feeling quite nervous as I don't want him to be upset.

Thank you x

I left mine with a cup. They weren’t especially happy but did take some milk from it. Are you leaving them together for any time before you go to Glastonbury?

That's a month away. Baby will be properly on solids and should be drinking from a cup. Likelihood, he will be quite hungry in the night and you'll have to feed him tnrough the night but otherwise fine.

Who is giving these bottles? My baby takes a bottle just fine but never from me or when I am anywhere near.
