Funny breastfeeding challenges

At the moment, my 9 month old MUST be doing one of 4 things when breastfeeding:

  • trying to crawl (he's v excited about crawling)
  • a headstand (my poor nipples get shredded during this one)
  • picking my nose
  • fingering my ear

Anyone else? Is he gonna try and feed while walking soon 😅

Just wait till they're 18m and they just run up in the middle of the playground, yank your breast out and start gulping.

Little buggers

Omg I can totally imagine that. He already crawls towards me and pulls on my tshirt. It's 50/50 whether it means he wants boob or he wants help standing up at the moment.

My DS2 got teeth at 8 weeks, that was an experience!

My eldest was a nosey bugger, but he also liked to have the longest feeds ever (I don't think he ever had one that was less than 45 mins, and he had to drain both boobs). He was so worried that he might miss something that he used to pull my nipple and feed from the side of his mouth so that he could turn his head and look around him. If he saw anyone looking at him he would give them a big smile while keeping my nipple in his mouth, but ensuring anyone passing could see the rest of my boob. He is 20 now, my nipples are at least twice the length they were before I had kids, and they point in different directions! Despite this, I was sad when I stopped breastfeeding.

Does he do the radio tuning twiddle on the other nipple yet? I used to hate that.

@Bobbybobbins whaat? Did he bite at all? Mine got his at 6 months and I thought it would be the end of BF but it hasn't been a big deal at all. But 8 weeks is something else....

@WhatHaveIDone889he didn’t deliberately but at times I could feel they were there! One of the reasons I stopped at 6 months whereas I had carried on for much longer with my DS1!
