irregular periods when bf?

I know some people get periods when bf and most don't. So I was disappointed to get a period when ds was 4.5 weeks and 8.5 weeks. But nothing since then (ds now 16 weeks). I thought it was an all or nothing thing. Did anyone else get a couple of periods and then they stopped or irregular ones?

I had no period for 9 months, then every 5 weeks approx, everyone's different I spose

I've been bfing DS2 for 6 mths and still no sign of a period - can't say I'm disappointed either!

although I still get 'moody' and my boobs -esp nipples, get sore around once a month.

I had nothing for 21 weeks, then 1 at 21 weeks, then another now at 27 weeks, ie 2 weeks late...
