Breastfeeding newborn with a cold

DD is 13 days old and started a cold yesterday. He nose is quite congested. She’s only staying on for very short durations due to breathing. Does anyone have any advice on how to help her? I have the saline drops but it seams like it hasn’t helped. I’m worried when her nose fully blocks.

Nose frida! Or just ride it out but it will be tough for a day or two.

Run the shower hot so that the room gets nice and steamy and try feeding her in the room, obviously away from
the hot water though. Have you tried a Nasal Aspirator too?

And if the feeds are shorter you could try some Breast Compressions to help them take more milk.
