8mo breast fed : return to engorgement

Ds3 is 8mo and down to 3 b/f per day (7.30am, 2.30pm and 7pm). Used one box of breast pads in the first couple of weeks and since then nothing as no need.

Over the last 10 days I have started becoming engorged and leaking 1-2 hours before every feed, sometimes engorged to the point of waking in the night as it's so uncomfortable. Also soaking through tops during the day.

Why, oh why, oh why??? Didn't happen with either of the other two.

. Can wring the milk out of my top atm...

How odd! Are you eating loads of fennel or something?

No, no more than usual which isn't any to speak of really (unless you count the wee bit in some coleslaw some days). It is most disconcerting (and soggy)

Yeah i bet, but other than expressing the extra there's no cure really is there....?

Perhaps its the warmer weather causing it, but why I don't know. I'm not having any trouble in it tbh

My DS is 8 mo and still feeding 8 times per day but I've always expressed in the evenings so DH can give him a bottle. My expressing quantity has always been the same but over the last week it has gone up significantly and I'm feeling fuller between feeds. It's weird isn't it.

Any evening b/f gurus?
