She’s been a snacker since she was born, I expressed into a bottle due to latching issues for the first 6-7 weeks. She never really took more than 2oz at a time. I now EBF and in the day she feeds every 1 hour - 90 mins. Occasional 2 hours. However she does sleep through the night, 8-9 hours. She doesn’t wake up starving which is odd, she roots a little and smiles at me, however in the day if it hits the hour mark, you’d think she hasn’t been fed for days!

she had tongue tie cut over a week ago, and it’s still the same. Her latch is fine and she seems to transfer fine, just very little and often. Is this normal? She feeds like a new born

My first child was exactly the same. He’s still the same many years later. Likes to snack and doesn’t like big meals. This stage passed quite quickly and as soon as we started weaning it became easier. Sounds like you are doing a brilliant job.

Sleeping through the night is brilliant. It sounds as though she’s busy in the day getting all of her calories in. Tough for you but sounds better than her going every 3 hours and waking in the night.

You could try a few breast compressions but you may find that it just makes the feeds shorter rather than spacing them out Flowers
