Breastfeeding help!

Hi everyone,
So my baby is 2 weeks old and I've been doing the side lying feeding, but I've been noticing that milk leaks from her nose. At first I thought it was just my boobs leaking milk onto her face but then I noticed that she breathes like she has a blocked nose and it's actually the milk coming out of her nostrils.
I don't want to change feeding position as it's the most comfortable position for me as I suffer from very bad back pain and neck tension, I have tried other positions already.

Many thanks in advance!

Well done for finding a position that's comfortable!

It could be that the latch isn't quite deep enough so is swishing around her mouth more than it should and so coming up her nose. Can you tell if you have a fast let-down/flow? If it happens at the start of a feed, she might just be overwhelmed and it gets moved around her mouth too much.

The best people to ask would be people with feeding support training. There should be a team at your hospital that has an IBCLC (someone with specific, intensive breastfeeding training - not just the basic training midwives get). Or if it's hard to get hold of them, see if there any any local baby groups that have feeding support. La Leche League have lots of groups around the country. There's also lots of very informative Instagram accounts if you search IBCLC

Good advice above. There's also the national breastfeeding helpline that could be worth a try
