Gaviscon infant with expressed milk

I’ve been given Gaviscon infant. When I mixed it with express milk this morning from the fridge, it went all lumpy and would not mix? Is the milk supposed to be warm for it to mix well? It doesn’t say this on the instructions. I mixed it with Forumla last night when it was hot and there didn’t seem to be an issue?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I found it was better with room temperature or slightly warm breast milk, dissolving in 5ml

You could try dissolving it in a teaspoon of recently boiled water first? My daughter was breastfeed so I gave her the gaviscon by syringe dissolved in cooled boiled water. My daughter is still on it at 4 and has it with her oat milk. I dissolve it in a teaspoon of hot water and then add the oat milk.
