Silent Reflux

Hi, my 5 week old suffers from silent reflux. I'm trying everything i read online.
Feeding sitting upright. Regular breaks, more burping, not giving him as much in one feed.. he's still then gulping then crying and hours after feeding he is bringing milk up in his sleep through his mouth and nose..(not all the time but sometimes).
He is on aptamil formula.
Does anyone else's babies suffer with this. Does a comfort formula help at all. I'm worried to change his milk and upset his stomach even more

Thanks

Is your baby gaining weight?
My daughter had terrible reflux to the point I had to consult the Hv and GP. She was prescribed infant gaviscon (which thickens the milk in the tummy to make it heavier so it doesn’t come up so much) and it really helped. Her body eventually got stronger and now she is hardly sick at all.

worth seeking medical advice if your baby is really struggling.

Yeah he's a good size.. still loves his food, doesn't bring back up too much when eating but it's the bringing it up when asleep and the pain he's in when eating, feel so bad for him

The only thing that helps my daughters silent reflux is medication and managing her allergies. She's been on gaviscon since 6 weeks and omperazole since 8 weeks. I went dairy and soya free at 17 weeks

Go see your GP as they can prescribe medication.
