Giving water in between feeds - dd 9 mo

Hiya all

Given that it is boiling outside, how do I know when to give dd water and when to give milk?

Yday, she had 7oz when she woke, 8 oz at 10am, 8 oz at 2pm, two bottles of 7 oz at about 4, 7 oz at 5pm and then 8 oz at bedtime!! All on top of her food

That is much more than she normally drinks so I'm guessing some of that was thirst. I did try giving her water but she wasn't overly interested apart from a few sips here and there.

Don't mind giving her the milk but am concerned about 'overfeeding' - if that is even possible??

Thanks wise ones

xxj
