Beach in 28 degrees

Baby is 4 months, currently abroad. Husband wants to take baby to beach in 28-30 degree weather - for me a massive no/no, he won't agree, saying I'm being over the top. Suffered from really awful anxiety the entire pregnancy and post partum period so he keeps saying it's my anxiety stopping me from doing so

Don't see the problem, it was over 40C in Cyprus last year and plenty of babies were on the beach under a shade

Surely there is some room for compromise here. Taking a baby to a beach at the height of the day for very long wouldn’t be wise but in the earlier or later part of the day when it’s not as hot should be okay for a short time, given you have access to plenty of shade. What are your concerns and what is he proposing?

Keep the baby in the shade, and keep yourself hydrated (esp if you're BFing), and you'll be fine. Enjoy it!

How much shade can you provide and can you avoid the midday sun as a PP suggested?
