Introducing formula at 8 months and green poo

This week from Monday we’ve started introducing a bottle of formula a day to our 8 month old who has been breastfed since birth. She was having 30-60ml Monday/Tuesday but took 90ml on Wednesday.
Prior to this week her poos have been pretty formed and consistent with her eating more food and less breast milk as she’s now on 3 solid meals.
Today (Friday) however she’s pooed 3 times and they’ve all been looser (not watery but looser) and a green colour. I may be wrong but I can’t help but think this is due to the introduction of the formula and her tummy getting used to it? But I wonder if anyone else has had the same?
We've introduced aptamil 2 in case that makes a difference.
I should add that she’s fully weaned so I don’t THINK it’s allergy related.
Any ideas?

Interested to know. I have 3 DC now in their teens. One DD had this. (DS EBF so don’t know about him.) At the time health visitor told me not to worry as DD was clearly thriving and well. She is now 15 so survived having green poo for her first year or so but I do still sometimes wonder what that was.

Sometimes the iron in follow on formula can make their poo a funny colour (same as iron tablets do funny things to adult 💩). Your baby should gradually adjust.

@OtterMummy2024 Thank you! I did think this may be the case! We’d just got past the potential poonami stage as her poo was now more formed but now seem to be back into it given the looser stool 🙈 time to go up a nappy size I think 😂🤦‍♀️ X
