Sprout rice formula - anyone tried this?

Baby has CMPA and is now on an amino acid formula which is rank and he’s started to refuse. I’ve seen a few people mentions sprout, it’s rice based and made in Australia. I know over here rice milk is a no die to high levels of arsenic, but they say due to the parts of the rice used and testing it’s not an issue, and I imagine Australian testing is pretty stringent. I was thinking about maybe trying it to see if it’s more palatable for my baby. It’s £21 a 700g including postage from Australia, but I think it’s worth it if it means he’ll drink it and doesn’t need reflux meds for the formula he’s on, which just smells like vinegar and he’s started refusing feeds.

Honestly I've never heard of it. If he's refusing the Amino Formula though, are you adding anything to it to try and make it more palatable?

We’ve only been on it a few days. Have added in gaviscon. Have ordered some vanilla, but I can’t see how adding nesquik is healthy!

Ok so it's not an ideal product but it's so much more healthy than having a hungry baby. I wouldn't say that about most foods but in this case your options seem to be very limited Flowers

Yea it feels like there are no good options!

I really do feel for you. I have CMPA and although it's a total PITA I'd rather have it than my DC.

Hopefully your LO will be one if the majority that grow out of it Flowers

I’m really hopeful he’ll be successful on the milk ladder and the probiotics help
