Long post but Having a really difficult time feeding 2 month old

She was breastfed for just over 6 weeks and switched to bottles&formula ok
Recently she has been really difficult to feed, will not accept the feed and then gets absolutely hysterical as she is hungry?

We’ve tried different teats, using mam bottles with teat flow 1 which she took fine and have also tried her with 2 due to the fussiness.
Sometimes she will be absolutely fine and finish the feed ok. Other times it’s like she’s upset about it the flow and gets worked up and overtired hence trying the size 2.
Again, will occasionally accept fine but will splutter and gulp and get upset

Has episodes of screaming beyond at times then will fall asleep and settle, accepted a 5oz feed this afternoon no problem

Same issue again this evening. Near time of feed and she starts to fuss a little, chew hands etc but when giving her the bottle, she takes around 0.5/1 oz and becomes unconsolable

Could this be a cows milk protein allergy? My ds screamed after the first half ounce and would then scream intermittently throughout the rest of the feed. I literally emptied a cafe of customers at one point trying to feed him there as he was so loud. It was awful. He had silent reflux so no obvious signs of sickness.

What other symptoms are there? She has been fine since we switched from breast to formula and this is happened in the last week or so. She does scream during the feed but it appears to be when she slightly unlatches at times and it upsets her. Other times she takes the feed absolutely fine and will finish the entire thing! The best way to describe it is that she wants to feed and is hungry but just gets so upset by the whole experience I feel so lost with it all

My daughter was like this. It was due to severe silent reflux and multiple food allergies. She was breastfeed and fussing at a feed turned out to be our earliest warning sign that I had eaten something she was allergic too. She would latch and unlatch every few seconds and scream. It was a battle between needing to feed due to being hungry but feeding hurting so she didn't want to feed. She fed much better overnight. At it's worst she fed for a total of 1-2 minutes during the day over 8-9 feeds and 30-60 minutes over night over 3-4 feeds.
