Baby dropping feeds sleeping more

Baby is 11 weeks old and was drinking 5oz every 3 hours but now he's drinking like 2/3oz every 3/4 hours and even then he's crying. He's had 16 oz within 20 hours, even after going 6 hours without a feed (overnight) he wasn't interested in a bottle, he's sleeping more in the day to, he's currently on prescription milk, gaviscon and laxatives. I feel lost I don't know what else I can do, any ideas

This is tricky, how are his nappies- how many wet/day? And his weight? Id contact health visitor- different babies will have different requirements, if baby is losing weight or not having enough wet nappies hv can advise other ways of feeding. Id see hv or GP urgently for a weigh in.

If weight is fine and baby is following their centile it will put your mind at ease lol, if not then steps can be taken to help!

Do you think there's a chance he's developing bottle aversion? It can be common with babies who have CMPa.

Also, the prescription formula is supposed to taste foul, are you adding anything to it to make the formula more palatable?

Which milk is he on? My CMPA baby dropped feeds around 11 weeks too and even now at 5 months since switching to Alfamino from ebf, he only drinks 3-5oz most feeds every 4 hours, I think allergy milk just doesn't taste very nice but he's continuing to gain weight still x

Do you add anything to it like alcohol free vanilla essence or Nesquik?

@TinyMouseTheatre yes, we did vanilla drops and now we do strawberry crusha but it doesn't make a huge difference still x

He's on aptimal pepti, I didn't know I could add anything to it? He's around 14lbs so definitely gaining weight, I see the health Vistor today so I'll see what she says, thanks all xx

@TinyMouseTheatre she cancelled as she was unwell but we spoke over the phone and she said it could be a stomach bug which makes sense now as my husband is unwell with a stomach bug now x
