When did your period return and how many feeds were you giving a day?

No sign of mine and DD 10 months old. DH and I are keen to start trying for the next baby. Out of interest, (as I am getting impatient now!) when did your period return and how many feeds were you giving when it did?

And if you could all do a little 'bring on the period' dance with some chanting too for me, that would be much appreciated.

exclusive bf came back at 6 weeks but seems to have stopped again taking cerazette ?

Exactly 4 weeks after end of lochia so DD1 was what about 8 weeks old how bad was that? Actually it was good she was a great sleeper and was sleeping 11-7am at 6 weeks so no night feeds meant periods came back.

DD2 - 11 months down to 2-3 feeds a day

But I would trade periods for sleep anytime.

exclusively bFing and got period (heavier than before birth)seven weeks after birth. DS is four months old and I've just had third period.
hhhmmmff. BFing approx every two hours also through night.

Alexpolis: it is great but because I look a lot younger than I am (i get ID'd regularly) people were extraordinarily patronising. They would would slowly and clearly - cos obviously being young makes you deaf too - 'first day of last period?' but the look on their faces was woth it when I said 1st march 05. you could see them trying to work it out seeing as it was october 06.

I stopped bf DD2 at about 3 months old, no period till 10 months later!
