How do I get a 12mo to switch from formual to cows milk?

He's 12mo, and its about time we stopped having to buy the soooo expencive formula! and switched to cows milk.

Is it best to just stop the formula, or, do you have to wean on to it?
First time mum! Looking for advice. xx

I switched DS3 (11 1/2 months) over to cows milk yesterday (due to having a shit day and having no formula made up and bottles only just washed/kettle boiled etc).

I filled up the bottle with cows milk, warmed it up and he drank it, he's been absolutely fine.

Did the same with DS2 - just switched one day and he did't even seem to notice.

In fact if anything I think DS3 prefers cows milk!

Thanks for that girls. I did try giving him cows milk earlyer He just spat it out. So I will be trying the half & half tomorrow. I may have to brake him in gently

i just can't believe how quickly the yr has gone everyone tells u it goes quick but it really just flew past!
