Nutramigen LGG for CMPA - anyone on?

We’ve switched to Nutramigen and the instructions are to use water less than 30’, which is crazy seeing as all other formula says to use boiling water to kill the bacteria in the milk. This also comes in a tin, the powder isn’t sterile, so there’s a risk it could make the baby ill? Although it is easier to make out and about it’s freaking me out the lack of using hot water. I think I’d rather use hot water and kill the probiotics and take the probiotics separately.

If it makes you uncomfortable I think you would be better off asking for a different formula rather than using different preparations for this formula
That said, baby formula is heavily regulated and monitored. You would know if babies were frequently getting sick from the formula.

Thanks. He’s better on this one and it’s easier to make up out and about and I’m hopeful that they are confident in their manufacturing. Also that Europe and Australia don’t use the hot shot method
