How to increase bottles of expressed breast milk

We have managed to get our 8 week old to take a bottle of expressed breast milk - yay! Advice online seems to say to give a newborn a bottle once every 3 days so they don't lose the breastfeeding instinct. When can we increase this to a regular bottle so OH can do a daily (or nightly!) feed? Anyone know or have experience?

I have never had issues with losing breastfeeding instinct when giving a bottle of expressed milk. Unless you are breastfeeding only once every 3 days and just giving bottles, I wouldn’t worry. If the majority of feeds are still breast they will be just fine.

We're EBF so far so keen to introduce a bottle of expressed milk so we can share the work more. I wonder where I saw that recommended. Maybe for very small babies still learning to latch.
Our latch is not perfect but we will carry on breastfeeding and try to do a bottle a day when I have time to pump!
