Baby is breastfed, she was only born Christmas Day evening. This evening she's been up crying and farting since 7:30pm (it's now almost 3am)

Wtaf is going on

This is my second baby, this did not happen with DD who was EBF

Please can someone tell me if this is normal

I'm sat downstairs now with her on my own, every time she stirs I jiggle her

Even co sleeping she will not settle

Congratulations on your new LO. That does sound possibly within the realms of normal but very difficult.

Did she want to feed a lot during this time?

Can you speak to a MW today?

She's managed 3 poos today and is loads more settled after being so windy until about 11am this morning

Hoping it's a better night tonight

If she's had 3 pops sounds like there is plenty going in the top end

Has your milk come in yet? This can make a difference to getting them a bit more settled
try skin to skin and plenty of boob
if she’s peeing and pooing then that sounds good
