I've just moved to the London from Hong Kong with my 7month old DD and was wondering if anyone knew where I can buy Nestle NanHa 2?

I don't think Nestle are allowed to sell their formulas over here.

sttjk · 01/05/2008 22:34

oh my! short of having a load shipped over should i try weaning her onto a different formula?

you are brave putting the N-word on here

find a different formula....

splitFanjonality · 01/05/2008 22:37

Find a different formula. They dont sell Nestle in the UK. SMA is good brand to try.

sttjk · 01/05/2008 22:48

Is it easy to switch? Should I alternate them to start, a friend of mine told me that her dd got sick when she switched formula?

My baby used SMA Gold, and when I went abroad, I gave him Nan. No issues switching between the two. But to be on the safe side, maybe find your nearest health visitor and have a word?

TooTicky - of course Nestle are allowed to sell formula in the UK! Where have you got the idea from that they are not permitted? It's a commercial decision not to - the market here is very, very sewn up and there is no niche at the moment. They have tried, and will try again, no doubt.

They sell plenty of other stuff, just not infant formula.

TooTicky · 02/05/2008 12:28

I have read it somewhere - somewhere unreliable obviously.
I know how many things they do sell over here, the bastards.

kiskideesameanoldmother · 02/05/2008 12:48

maybe you can try half and half the formula you are currently using with a UK brand, then after a couple days, try going fully over the the UK brand one?
