Baby feeding for 2 mins before falling asleep

The past for days my DD 3 weeks EBF has been doing tiny short feeds where she'll feed for 5 mins max then falls asleep at the boob.
She'll then nap for say 20 mins but wake again as she's hungry. Then it's on a loop.
So hard at night!
Any ideas? How to keep her awake? Or get her to take a full feed? She's pooing and weeing fine so is getting enough it's just very tiring!!

I think this is really common at this age, my daughter was the same. The only things I did do which sometimes helped get a longer feed in was change her nappy before feed so she was properly awake and if she looked to be dosing off early on the boob gently blow in her face. The face blowing was suggested by midwife in the hospital and did work most of the time so worth a try! X

I had a hard time keeping my daughter awake to feed in the early days. Suggestions I had were changing her nappy, blowing on her face, tickling her feet, stroking her cheeks, stripping down to her nappy, and putting a cold damp flannel on her. I basically had to annoy her into staying awake so she'd eat.

Also when you think she's finished on one boob, change her nappy again before offering the other boob.

Have you had her checked for tongue tie. This can be a sign of it. Sometimes it doesn’t prevent feeding but makes it a lot more difficult. If she is working extra hard to feed and tiring herself out.
if she has one getting it cut could let her feed easier for longer

I ticked DS, he woke, i burped and fed again, he fell asleep again. repeated till he wouldnt wake (dont tickle for too long). your DD should sleep for a few hours if she is full and burped well x
